Driven Shooting
Every year there are a number of driven shoots available for groups or syndicates of 8 guns. During September and early October there is Mallard shooting on some of our many duck ponds. From late October to early January we can offer driven pheasants with the possibility of some partridges and woodcock.
Our gamekeeper rears ducks and pheasants with care during the spring and releases them over the summer. He continues to look after them all the way through the season ensuring consistently good shooting.
The perfect shoot might involve waking up in a great hotel, eating a hearty breakfast, being transported to the gamekeeper to begin the day, enjoying sporting birds amongst fantastic terrain, a delicious lunch and possibly some wild duck flighting in the evening.
